Penguin Island 15 October 2011

Looking south from a lookout on Penguin Island

Chloe and Andrew with the view north behind them.
The island behind Penguin Island also had Sea Lions on it.

One of hundreds of  baby seagull chicks on the island.

During our walk around the island we saw a wild penguin under the boardwalk....very cute!

There are 10 penguins in captivity that are fed three times daily.
Each one is fed differently according to their personality.

Three Personalities!
Many of them swam and dove into the water as they would in the wild, which was most entertaining for the crowd.

The Caspian Tern was one of several bird species nesting on the island.
