Shannon National Park 31 Oct 2011

We found a lovely bush setting to set up camp.

Andrew and Chloe had a fire up and running within minutes.
We enjoyed a few meals cooked on the fire including a damper.

The kids were inspired to bake mud pies ...not very successful but heaps of fun.

There were a few bush walks in Shannon NP.
We went on a five and a half kilometre walk.
This is at Shannon Dam about a quarter of the way along.

At the top of our walk on Mokares Rock.

One of the Karri trees in the forest.
This one was a real surviver having gone though many bush fires.

They even used Karri Trees as bridges.
It was a long but enjoyable walk through a Karri Forrest.
